Necessity is the Mother OF Invention

NECESSITY IS THE MOTHER OF INVENTION

Once a crow was very thirsty. It flew about in search of water, but it did not find it any where. At last it reached a garden. There it saw a pitcher. It was very glad to see it. It flew to it, but it was or disappointed when it found the water very low. It tried to drink it, but its beak could not reach it. It saw some pebbles lying nearby. It brought the pebbles one by one in its beak and dropped them in to the pitcher. The water rose up, the crow drank it, quenched its thirst and flew away crowing with great joy.
